Since 2001, we have specialized in line locating. John Misan (the president of Safety Dig) has 15 years of construction experience, and 12 years of operating experience at a sour gas facility near Whitecourt.
John soon realized they had a superior service. Besides using the best line locator machine available, he was able to use his construction and operating experience to understand each facility, which made for a better locate. The advantage of having hydrovac equipment is that located buried facilities can be verified. Safety Dig’s training and safety procedures ensure a consistent approach.
With 36 years of experience, It is not uncommon for us to find extra buried facilities during secondary surveys due to our techniques. Most of our customers have realized to call us first.
We also have several Hydrovacs for small and large applications. We also train our Hydro-vac operators with Line Locating equipment for small combination jobs, and also when problems in the field occur, they can solve issues rather than extending hydro-vac time saving hundreds of dollars.
